In this project, a couple of classmates and I were tasked with making a brand image for Hanoi, Vietnam for the 2036 Olympics. It is important to take into consideration the country’s history, but also design in a way that helps them stick out. We read up on the history of their architecture, beliefs, and recurring imagery that popped up.

We ended up using colors from their flag, as well as the coloring seen on the multitude of dragon statues seen in and around Hanoi. We also landed on a wide set sans serif that mirrored the historic architecture seen in the city. Illustrator was used for the bulk of the project as we worked on the logo and mockup designs.
